The compensation of the CEO’S dropped 3.4 percent to a median of $7.56 million. This was the first in seven years since 1989.The CEO compensation dropped even more rapidly in banks and brokerages. This was an apt decision taken as many out there have been left jobless and it would help the companies in the long run to cope up the financial crisis.
