Patriarch Partners, a New York-based private equity firm won the auction for Polaroid Corp’s assets who filed bankruptcy in December 2008 which included the company’s name, intellectual property, and photography collection. The firm promises to act on the myriad opportunities to leverage the iconic brand Polaroid. Approval of the sale is set for April 6 in the federal bankruptcy court.
